Bulgarians have created an electric motorcycle with the largest battery ever

A Bulgarian company has created an electric motorcycle with the largest battery ever, BGNES reports.

The machine was presented at the Moto Expo 2024, and its creators, Balkan Electric Sports (BES), promise that it will allow riders the freedom to travel outside the city.

“Our ambition is to give people the opportunity to go outside the city with electric bikes, because in general the bikes that are powered by electricity are limited in terms of mileage,” commented the representative of the company, Radoslav Galabov.

According to him, the battery is the company’s own development and, according to studies, it is the largest on the market for motors – 20 kilowatt hours.

According to Galabov, the battery lasts 300 kilometers of extra-urban transition at a speed of 90-100 km/h and 450 km of urban transition.

“Balkanic Electric Sports” is a fully Bulgarian company and has been on the market for only 4-5 months, but the people behind it have been producing electric vehicles for about 2 years.

At the moment, some of the components for building the electric motorcycle are imported, but the main things on it are made here.

The assembly of the machines will also take place in Sofia.
