One of the funniest BG actors celebrates turning 54 today

One of the most popular and beloved actors in our country celebrates his 54th birthday today, learn Sofia24.bg. Malin Krastev was born on April 23, 1970 in Sofia. He received his secondary education at the “Henry Ford” technical school. In 1995, he graduated from VITIZ “Krastyo Sarafov” with a major in acting for dramatic theater in the class of Professor Elena Baeva. For more than 30 years, there are many memorable roles and dozens of theater awards. About her profession, Malin Krastev says that she does not work, but lives.

Played in many productions at Theater 199, Mladezhkia, National Theater and Theater Behind the Canal. He was filmed in a number of Bulgarian and foreign film productions. He teaches acting, also performs as a playwright and director.

Played in the productions “Merry Spitting Days”, “The Other Man”, “Three Rainy Days”, “The Old Woman of Calcutta”, “The Lonely West”, “Sarabanda”, “Probation”, “The Fastest Clock in the Universe”. He has his own poster with prints on the Wall of Fame in front of Theater 199. He has acted in various productions such as January, Tartuffe, Marriage, Calvary, Twelfth Night, Hour of the Wolves and Equus.

Later, he became the host of the TV show “Masters of the Air”. He taught acting at the youth school at the Nikolay Binev Youth Theater.

Since January 2018, he has been part of the troupe of the MGT “Behind the Channel”.

Award for best actor at the Plovdiv Festival for Walker for his role in the play “Three Rainy Days” – 2009.

“Golden Feather” 2005 for contribution to Bulgarian culture.

Malin Krastev is the author of the plays “Family Album”, “Winter Night”, “Kevan”, “Because it is cold”. He is the director of the performances “Family Album” and “10 in London”. Also, Malin Krastev is an acting assistant in the class of Prof. Dr. Ivaylo Hristov at NATFIZ and is the head of the acting studio at the Nikolay Binev Youth Theater.
