This is how the representatives of the Efbet League predicted the match in the BLITZ Star League game

Inter defeated AC Milan 2-1 in the Derby de la Madonina of the 33rd round of the Italian Serie A and won their 20th league title five rounds before the end of the season. Francesco Acherbi (18) and Markus Thuram (49) brought the victory to the Nerazzurri, who, with the title won, already surpassed the Rossoneri by one and will put a second star on their emblem. Fukayo Tomori (80) revived the symbolic hosts’ hopes in this derby, but they were unable to find an equalizer until the end, and the match ended with plenty of nerves and red cards for AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabri and Inter substitute Denzel Dumfries.

The first good opportunity to score opened before the Nerazzurri. Matteo Darmian brought down the ball in the box for Lautaro Martinez. The Argentinian sent a shot on the move that went over the goal. In the 14th minute, Milan organized a good attack where Yunus Moussa passed to Tijani Reinders, whose shot was blocked. The ball ended up in Theo Hernandez in front of the penalty area. The Frenchman shoots but wide of the goal. Four minutes later, Simone Inzaghi’s men took the lead. Federico Dimarco crosses from a corner near the far post to Benjamin Pavard. The defender overtook Theo Hernandez and continued to the uncovered Francesco Acherbi, who headed home for 0:1.

In the 22nd minute, Dimarco tried to surprise Mike Menian from a free kick, but the keeper was careful and caught. Three minutes later, Lautaro Martinez made a huge miss. Marcus Thuram advanced from the left and played to Dimarco. The full-back made an excellent pass to Lautaro, but the Argentine from 5-6 meters in front of the goal was unable to register. Seven minutes after that, the ball found its way to Rafael Leao, who tackled Acherby and fired a powerful shot into Jan Sommer’s reach and the Swiss cleared. In the 37th minute, the Nerazzurri developed a great attack in which Thuram looked for the far corner, but the ball went dangerously wide of the goal. Three minutes later, Milan came close to an equaliser. Davide Calabria joined the attack from the right. The full-back came inside and delivered a powerful shot that Sommer dealt with. Seconds later, Tomori made a mistake in his own penalty area which allowed Henrikh Mkhitaryan to control the ball and strike, but Menjan was on top too.

Shortly after the break in the 49th minute, Marcus Thuram received a deep pass from Alessandro Bastoni. The Frenchman controlled the ball between two defenders, beat Tomori and with a great shot from the edge of the penalty area in the lower right corner scored for 0:2.

Stefano Pioli reacted immediately and replaced Tijani Reinders with Olivier Giroud. Simone Inzaghi’s alumni slowed down in the following minutes, preventing their rival from troubling Sommer. In the 62nd minute, Mkhitaryan tried to surprise the advancing Menyan, but his shot failed.

The Rossoneri reduced the deficit in the 80th minute when they took a short corner from the left but the ball found its way to Samu Chukwueze on the right. The Nigerian crossed to the far post where Rafael Leao out-jumped Matteo Darmian and continued to Matteo Gabbia. The central defender made a header, which Jan Sommer managed to clear, but the ball ended up in Fikayo Tomori, and he made no mistake from a few meters for 1:2. Shortly after, the ball luckily ended up in Noah Okafor, who, however, did not expect it and was unable to make a goal kick from a few meters away.

In extra time, Theo Hernández lost his temper by tripping and kicking Davide Fratesi. Denzel Dumfries reacted to his actions. A scuffle ensued between players from both teams, and Hernandez and Dumfries were sent off. In the seventh minute of added time, Milan captain Davide Calabria also received a red card. The defender punched Davide Fratesi in the face and was logically sent off, and shortly afterwards the referee called an end to the match and the celebrations for Inter began.

After the success, the Nerazzurri collected 86 points and five rounds before the end are unattainable at the top. Milan is second with 69 points.
