The cars are equipped with cameras. Dimitar Dilchev, executive director of the Center for Urban Mobility, said this on the air of “Hello, Bulgaria”.
“20 are the equipped cars. They are expected to start working by mid-May after the teams have undergone training. Video control will become even more effective.
The cars will cover the zones throughout Sofia. Employees will be assigned appropriate routes to take. The possibilities to park for 10-15 minutes without sending a message will decrease sharply”, said Dilchev.
Is it worth the investment in a garage or parking space?
He added that it is necessary to make regulatory changes to open up ability of control services to place digital clamps. This will make it easier for teams and citizens. The idea is to remove the devices that fasten the cars.
