Almost a year after two youths were run over on the capital’s “Slivnitsa” Blvd., the prosecutor’s office submitted to the court the indictment against the driver who caused the tragic accident.

The charge is for death caused by negligence when driving a motor vehicle.

At 17 minutes after midnight on May 8, the then 18-year-old Adrian Antonov drives his car at a speed of 106 km/h, with a maximum speed limit of 50 km/h.

At the same time, on the footpath are the young fiancés Ani and Yavor, who die as a result of the impact.

“All I want to say is that I’m sorry. I express my sincere condolences”, said Adrian in one of the court hearings, during which he wished to be released from custody.
