The long-awaited return of Irish MMA star Conor McGregor is likely to be among the biggest events in combat sports in 2024. The former UFC two-weight champion has been out of the Octagon for a long time due to a badly broken leg, but it was recently revealed that “The Notorious” will square off against Michael Chandler on June 29 during the organization’s 303rd edition.
In case you decided to take the financial risk of watching this fight live from a more special perspective and conditions, then you fall into the list of VIP packages, which, however, require you to dig deep into your pockets and pull out a serious amount of money.
Tickets for the event go on sale April 26, but the UFC has announced prices and packages for the dedicated spaces. The best seats will be priced at $12,000 and the service includes special entrance to enter the hall, guaranteed seating for the weigh-in and the event, signed fighter cards and, of course, special guest treatment. Another possible option for the maximum paint experience is an $11,500 package, which however includes one idea less privileges. The smallest VIP package is priced at $2,750.
VIP ticket packages have become big business for the UFC over the past few years since Endeavor acquired the world’s largest mixed martial arts organization.
What better time to implement such a business strategy than the return of the man who holds a bunch of UFC earnings records? Hardly, but most likely, UFC 303 will go down in McGregor’s business card, as another event that increased the company’s profits and, as usual, his own.
