The police officers, who were alleged to be accomplices in the organized crime group of Dinko Valev from Yambol, testified against him, Dnes Bulgaria learned.

It turned out that the uniformed men were threatened by Valev.
It will be recalled that on Saturday, the great refugee hunter was charged with general state extortion for his involvement in an Organized Crime Group for racketeering and extortion. Rambo from Yambol, however, was rushed to the Heart and Brain Hospital in a pre-infarction condition and in danger of life. This diagnosis was determined by him himself, quoted by local media.
Yesterday, the Appellate Prosecutor’s Office – Burgas, in parallel with the District Prosecutor’s Office – Yambol, brought charges against Dinko Valev as the head of the organized crime group in question.
The State Prosecutor’s Office states that the group was created for a selfish purpose in order to commit crimes in a coordinated manner on the territory of the country. The organized crime group operated from October 2021 to April 16, 2024 – a crime under Article 321, Paragraph 3, Item 2 of the Criminal Code.
During the investigation, it was found that the members of the group forced and attempted to force various individuals to perform actions against their will. For this purpose, threats to the life, health and property of the victims were used, as a result of which one of the victims suffered financial damage, and in relation to another victim, the act remained unfinished – crimes under Art. 214, para. 2, t .2 and item 3, cf. art. 213a, paragraph 2, item 3 and item 4, cf. art. 26, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
