P rinz Louie is beaming with a big smile in a new photo released to mark his sixth birthday. The youngest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales celebrates today.
Kensington Palace usually releases portraits of the Welsh children early in the morning to mark their birthdays, but fans were left disappointed this morning when Kate and William’s social media accounts did not show any pictures of the six-year-old.
However, the photo of the beaming young prince has now been posted, wishing him a happy birthday.
The photo was taken by his mother, the Princess of Wales, who often takes portraits for her children’s birthdays.

The inscription reads: “Happy 6th birthday Prince Louis! Thank you for all the kind wishes today.”
Prince Louis was born on 23 April 2018 at St Mary’s Hospital, like his older children Charlotte and George.
Louis’ sixth birthday comes amid the illness of Princess Kate, 42, who is recovering from abdominal surgery and subsequent cancer treatment.
Middleton revealed in March that she was undergoing a course of preventive chemotherapy for a type of cancer that remains undisclosed.
