Fiscal inspectors have found, when comparing with the stock exchange bulletin, that the prices at which the fruits and vegetables are sold are significantly higher than those entered in the invoices.
The monitoring of the movement of goods with a high fiscal risk was carried out in the period from 15.04.2024 to 21.04.2024. The vehicles of “entry” and “exit” were monitored.
The presence of employees from the fiscal control unit in the area of the market has a positive effect on the reporting of sales, according to the NRA.
Sellers issue and buyers receive an invoice for the goods they present when entering/exiting the exchange. From the submitted documents accompanying the goods, the NRA employees have the opportunity to compare the unit prices of the goods according to the issued documents and the announced exchange prices.
A drastic understatement of the values in the invoices was found. This leads to evasion of revenues and damage to the budget.
For example, the price of strawberries according to invoices was BGN 1.30 per kg including VAT, and the announced exchange prices are BGN 6.30 – 6.50 per kg.
For the peppers during the inspection, the invoice prices were BGN 1.02 per kg including VAT, and the announced exchange prices were BGN 4.50-5.00 per kg.
Hot peppers were invoiced at BGN 0.84 per kg including VAT, and the announced exchange prices are BGN 6.50-7.00 per kg.
The price of tomatoes according to invoices has also been lowered to BGN 1.20 per kg including VAT, with announced exchange prices BGN 2.50-3.80 per kg, and pink tomatoes BGN 4.50-4.80 per kg.
Cucumbers were invoiced at BGN 0.96 per kg including VAT, and the announced exchange prices are BGN 2.90-3.20 per kg.
NRA inspections will continue during the holidays.
