A young man who threatened to kill an underage girl and had sex with her twice received a suspended sentence.
District Court – Dupnitsa found the defendant G. K., 21 years old, from the Municipality of Dupnitsa, unconvicted, guilty of the fact that in the period 22.09.2023 – 26.09.2023 in the town of Dupnitsa under the conditions of a continuing crime , threatened to kill a 14-year-old girl four times. For this crime, the court sentenced him to 8 months of “Imprisonment”. On the basis of Article 66, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, he postponed serving the sentence for a period of 3 years.
The court found the defendant G.K. also guilty of the fact that from an unspecified date in July 2021 until the end of 2021 in the city of Dupnitsa, he had intercourse with a minor girl twice, and what was done did not constitute rape. For this crime, the court sentenced him to 1 year and 10 months of “Imprisonment”. On the basis of Article 66, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, he postponed serving the sentence for a period of 3 years. On the basis of Article 23, paragraph 1 of NK, the court grouped the punishments determined in this way, imposing the most severe of them – 1 year and 10 months “Imprisonment”, the execution of which is postponed for a probationary period of 3 years.
The sentence can be appealed and protested within 15 days before the District Court – Kyustendil.
