Kalin Stoyanov’s slap suit against Bird is outrageous – he should resign

The editor-in-chief of “Mediapool” Stoyana Georgieva commented on the “Studio Actualno” program about the case of Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov against the journalists of the investigative media Bird.bg. You can watch the entire interview in the video file at the end of the text.

An outrageous case, given that there are so many facts available to support this thesis of some kind of affiliation with the Notary. For me, this person (Kalin Stoyanov, editor’s note) should resign for many other reasons and fouls.

But definitely, the fact that he continues to be nailed to this post and the unconditional support for him by GERB and DPS shows that there is a reason to insist on keeping him in this post.

Here we can assume a much wider umbrella than the unraveling of the case with the Notary.

By the way, in my opinion, there is also some element that is not part of systemic politics, because DPS and GERB could have appointed another interior minister who would be devoted and loyal to them and do the same job, maybe even better good.

If you look, in fact, it seems that this system of services and the Ministry of the Interior has not cultivated other cadres in recent decades. There are no others, they are all theirs.

But somehow they wanted to show “We are continuing the change” – “Democratic Bulgaria” (PP-DB), very categorically to rub their noses in them as the last time, that this person will stay. The world may collapse, but this particular minister will remain.
