The cruel price of alcohol and drugs: Two young men on trial for murder that shook Dobrich – Dobrich

The District Prosecutor’s Office in Dobrich submitted to the court the case for the brutal murder to a man in Dobrich. They are accused of the crime two friends.

The crime took place in the fall of 2022. The young men were at a house party when shortly after midnight, after having already consumed a considerable amount of alcohol, they went out looking for drugs. The search was unsuccessful and the irritated friends went back.

At that time, the victim, who was also intoxicated, was walking home. Dissociating with younger men, the 52-year-old unintentionally pushed one of them. This triggered aggression on the part of one of the accused, and he delivered a strong blow with his hand to the face of the bystander, as a result of which the man fell to the ground. Then the two friends began kicking the victimwho were aimed mainly at his head, some also hit the man’s chest and abdomen. After finishing the beating, the men left the man in a helpless state on the street and went home to each other’s house.

He was the victim of hooligan assault noticed by employees of a security company around 03:00. He was immediately taken to the hospital in Dobrich, where died.

The case against the two defendants is scheduled to be heard in the Dobrich District Court. If found guilty, they can be sentenced to “imprisonment” for a term from 15 to 20 years, life imprisonment or life imprisonment without parole.
