There are enough vaccines against whooping cough for the children from 2 months to 2 years in the warehouse of the Ministry of Health, stated during a blitz control in the relevant parliamentary committee, the Minister of Health Galya Kondeva.

Non-immunized and non-ill contact persons are subject to medical observation for up to 14 days, according to the regulation of Ordinance No. 6 of 2019, said the Minister of Health, Dr. Galya Kondeva. She specified that when a case of whooping cough is registered in a nursery, kindergarten or school, the children are placed under observation for two weeks and the affected group or class is placed under quarantine.
