At its first meeting, the Turkish Stream Commission did nothing (video)

--

The first meeting of the parliamentary committee on the Turkish Stream project and the project’s missing road map devolved into arguments about who should be heard by the committee and was eventually adjourned without the MPs being able to accomplish anything of substance.

Ministry will again look for the map for “Turkish Stream”

After about 50 minutes of arguments, jokes and inappropriate comments about who should be heard and who should not, it came to a discussion of the proposed rules for the commission’s work. The MPs from “We continue the change-Democratic Bulgaria” stated that they would not support them because they did not have time to get to know them. They proposed that the vote on the rules be postponed until the next meeting, and that there be only hearings today, but the chairman of the meeting, Ramadan Atalay of the DPS (who was appointed as the chairman of today’s meeting by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Rosen Zhelyazkov), proposed to adjourn the meeting, and that was accepted.
