Former Argentina national team player Carlos Tevez was rushed to hospital, local media reported. The 40-year-old former teammate of Dimitar Berbatov at Manchester United is currently the coach of Independiente. He complained of acute chest pains and this necessitated his admission to the La Trinidad clinic in San Isidro (near Buenos Aires).
“Our coach Carlos Tevez was urgently admitted to hospital due to severe chest pains. He underwent medical examinations and the results are satisfactory. However, he will remain at the clinic for further tests. Only after the release of the results can he be discharged,” Independiente announced in an official announcement.
