Petel.bg – news – Hundreds of thousands of pensioners today receive 100 BGN for Easter

The payment of Easter supplements of BGN 100 for some pensioners starts today. Both transfers to the accounts of pensioners who receive their money via bank transfer, as well as transfers to post offices for pensioners who receive their pension payments in this way, will be available, according to the National Institute of Social Security, quoted by dnes.bg.

The Parliament decided that the lump sum for the Easter supplement should be paid to the pensioners whose pension or the sum of the pensions together with the supplements and compensations for the month of April 2024 is up to BGN 526 inclusive. About 534 thousand people are entitled to this supplement.

May pensions will be paid according to the standard schedule between May 7 and 20. Payment of pensions through post offices will start on May 7 (Tuesday) and end on May 20 (Monday). The transfers of the amounts for the May pensions to the accounts of the pensioners who receive their money via bank transfer will be carried out on May 7, 2024.

Cash benefits for pregnancy and childbirth and raising a child for the current month will be paid before the holidays – on April 30, the National Institute of Health and Welfare also announced.
