Deputies are considering the first reading of a bill to amend and supplement the Law on Gambling. The third item on the agenda includes a bill to amend the Personal Income Tax Act. The deputies extended the legislative part of the meeting until the agenda was completed. Then follows Friday’s parliamentary scrutiny.
The deputies voted for the resignation of the deputy from GERB-SDS Dragomir Draganov. The proposal was included as the first item on the agenda. The decision was adopted with 190 “for”, no against, 9 “abstentions”.
According to Tsoncho Ganev, the gambling bill is half-hearted. “We will ask that the period between the two readings be three days. We will call an extraordinary meeting so that the amendments to the Law on Gambling can pass the second reading,” he declared.
“We will propose an extraordinary meeting on Tuesday to consider the second reading of the Law on Gambling. Before that, an extraordinary meeting of the budget committee,” specified Yordan Tsonev.
