/KROSS/ Pharmacies in many cities of the country have already run out of whooping cough vaccines.

Pharmacists from Veliko Tarnovo warn that people are looking for vaccines, but they are out of stock even in the country’s warehouses.

The warehouses we work with are out of stock of the vaccine, it ran out as early as Wednesday lunchtime and no quantities have been received since. These vaccines are by doctor’s prescription, there is no way a patient can purchase the vaccine himself, if there is no recommendation from the personal physician, Yana Uzunova, master pharmacist in Veliko Tarnovo, said in BNT “The Day Begins”. According to her, inquiries are increasing.

The immunization calendar must be respected, said Yana Uzunova and added that problems with electronic prescriptions continue to be observed.
