Health Minister Galya Kondeva announced that free pertussis vaccines will be provided to pregnant women.

“The Ministry of Health will provide an opportunity for all pregnant women, regardless of whether they are insured or not, to be immunized for free. This will happen in RZI”, she added.

We remind you that currently there are 500 registered cases of the contagious disease. Over 90% of them are in children. For now, there are no plans to introduce epidemic measures in the country.

Earlier, the Minister of Education Galin Tsokov revealed that the quarantined classes are below 0.3% for the whole country. According to him, each school will only decide how to organize training in cases of infected children, dnos.bg reported.
