Iran wants the support of the alliance in the conflict against Israel

--

Iran has called on the BRICS group of emerging economies to take immediate action to stop Israeli aggression against the Palestinians.

Ali Bagheri Khani, Iran’s deputy foreign minister, made the call during a meeting in Moscow on Thursday where representatives of BRICS countries gathered to discuss developments in the West Asian and North African region.

Excavators Kani emphasized the importance of the position of each state and international organization regarding Israel’s actions, pointing out that their role will be remembered in history. He called on BRICS members to demonstrate both political and practical commitment to end attacks on Gaza’s civilian population and infrastructure.

In addition, Bagheri Khani called on the BRICS countries to facilitate the rapid delivery of humanitarian aid, particularly food, medical supplies and medicines to Gaza, as well as the complete withdrawal of the occupation forces and the reconstruction of the devastated territory.

He stressed the need for an immediate end to the Zionist regime’s attacks to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, to increase international humanitarian aid efforts and to provide firm support to organizations such as UNRWA.

Bagheri Kani emphasized that simple statements are insufficient, advocating for concrete and decisive actions to force the Zionist regime to adhere to international demands.

Acknowledging the funding freeze imposed on the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) due to baseless Israeli accusations, Bagheri Kani expressed gratitude to South Africa for pursuing legal cases against Israel at the International Tribunal for the Gaza Genocide. He urged BRICS members to support the case and provide legal solutions to deal with such crimes.

Highlighting the resilience of the Palestinian people in the face of Israeli aggression, Bagheri Khani emphasized the importance of stopping Zionist crimes to establish stability and peace throughout the region.

He criticized attempts by some Western countries to justify Israeli atrocities under the guise of self-defense, saying such justifications were invalid both legally and internationally.

Finally, Iran’s deputy minister addressed the Israeli attacks on the Iranian consulate building in Damascus and the killings of military personnel, affirming Iran’s right to defend itself against such acts of aggression.
