The government replaced the regional governor of Sofia and five other regions of the country.
Stefan Arsov has been appointed as the new district governor of Sofia-city district. He sits in Vyara Todeva’s chair, Nova TV reported.
Arsov has a master’s degree in “Law” from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Long-term lawyer with experience both in the private sector and in the municipal administration of Sofia Municipality.
Until now, Stefan Arsov was the “deputy regional governor” of the Sofia-city region, and in 2021, when he was still a law student, he was a candidate for the People’s Representative of 25 MIR from GERB.
With the same decision, the caretaker government also replaced the regional governor of the Sofia Region, Yulian Lekov. Silvia Arnautska was appointed in his place.
She graduated with a master’s degree in “Preschool and Primary School Pedagogy” and “Educational Management – Education Management” at the Southwest University “Neofit Rilski”. Arnautska has been a teacher for many years, and for the past seven years she has been an expert on “education and health care” in the municipality of Ihtiman.
