December 1, 2023, the last episode of “The Nikolaos Tsitiridis Show”. The spotlights go down, the emcee and the band go backstage for the last time. Everything is kind of sad and nostalgic, but every ending is always a new beginning.

What to expect
Such reflections are not very much in Dodo’s style, as everyone tells him, because he always looks at life from a different point of view and with the smile with which he infected us from the screen. But the maxim turned out to be true for him as well, and these days he surprised us with his new project – the “Unemployed Man” tour. That’s why we reached out to him to find out what’s going on and how his days are going after the show ends.
“Relaxed, with time for morning coffee and regular training,” answers Nikolaos Tsitiridis. And he does not fail to boast that he has “taken seriously the chore of making tiles”. Anyway, summer is coming, we need to be in shape. And for those who think that he is really unemployed – they are wrong. Even since he has been off screen, he appears to be busier professionally than before.
He continues with appearances on the Comedy Club stage, where it all began. And if until recently television occupied all his time, now he has the freedom to choose what to do and how to do it. And he gets a lot done – write jokes, rehearse, organize events, sometimes shoot commercials. And more and more.
Perhaps this is also the reason why he does not miss work in television. However, he misses the team of the show, the people. And he is categorical that this is the best team that a TV show has ever had in the history of television in Bulgaria. “I am ready to blow the brains out of anyone who argues with me, simply because I am sure of my words.” He does not promise that he will never return to the small screen again, but he does not set it as a goal. Much depends on what they will offer him.
Meanwhile, during the months in which he is officially unemployed, Nicholas Tsitiridis manages to prepare his second solo tour together with Comedy Club – “Unemployed Man”. Quite thematically, he created it as a “teaser and wink” to anyone wondering what a former TV personality is up to. “Well, he lives his life and tours” – he answers briefly and clearly.

After television, not only is there work, but there is also life – as hard as some may find it to imagine. That’s why he wants to show us clearly, and also to tell us all the stories he collected during the years he spent in television. To tell them to those people who laughed with him before he became a presenter, but also to others who then found out about him and now want to see him in a different light.
So that there are no surprises, he clarifies that Nikolaos from television is gone and in “Unemployed Man” we will see much more of him than in the four years on the small screen. Frank, unadulterated, without make-up and a precise script, he promises a “brutal” show in which he does not respect the good tone and language that the TV viewer is used to. And he likes that. And it makes him really excited.
The tour starts on May 13 from Veliko Tarnovo and so far there are dates planned in 13 cities, with more to be added, including Sofia and Plovdiv. Tickets can be purchased from the Comedy Club website.
In a completely different light, we will see Nikolaos in the company of Boro Parvi. The two met during the show and always had a story. The rapper sought him out at the beginning of January, and Tsitiridis was quite surprised by his suggestion to play together, because he defines his abilities with the sticks as far below those of professional drummers.

He suggests, however, that his “kind character and dubious popularity” made Boro First choose him. So, the two do a few rehearsals for a month and a half and jump into the deep end by going on tour with Looking for Occasions.
Their next big concert is on May 10 at Mixtape 5. Nikolaos hopes people will appreciate what they will see because “a concert format like this is rare in our latitudes”.

And after these two more than interesting projects, we can’t help but wonder what else Nikolaos Tsitiridis has in store for us. At this stage, however, he is laconic and only hints that “the bomb will explode further”.
In his own style, he jokes that if his popularity drops, he will release his own porn to make things right. Well, he hopes it doesn’t come to that. He doesn’t like politics either, so he better keep making us laugh as best he can.
