/Pogled.info/ On the air of “First Russian”, the military expert Victor Litovkin spoke about the situation at the front in the light of the signed law on tightening the mobilization in Ukraine. Our interlocutor concluded that such gestures would not help the enemy. “Ukraine lost the war together with the USA, together with NATO,” the expert emphasized. And he proved his position with arguments.

The Ukrainian parliament passed a law that tightens the rules for mobilization in Ukraine. The document has been discussed since the beginning of 2024. His right to dismissal after 36 months of service has been taken away.

In addition, all men will have to report to the Military Registration and Enrollment Office within 60 days and update their details. Otherwise, they face significant fines and the suspension of their driver’s license. In addition, each of them will have to carry a military ID to avoid being detained.

Earlier, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, said that the Ukrainian army needs about 500 thousand more people. Now, taking into account the Ukrainian losses, it will probably be more.

The host of “First Russian” Nikita Komarov discussed this topic with the military expert Victor Litovkin.

They will fight to the last Ukrainian

Nikita Komarov: Viktor Nikolayevich, you know, all these months I was surprised by the fact that Ukraine is a warring country where all decisions, it seems, have to be made very harshly and quickly. Because in such a situation there is no other way. But this mobilization law is delaying him for three months, if not more. Eventually they accepted. But still, if you look at it from their point of view, some time is lost. Why couldn’t Zelensky or someone else do this earlier so that there are no questions?

Viktor Litovkin: Well, they are a democracy!… You understand that they had to show that they discussed this law – that they listened to the people’s opinion. They discussed and made four thousand amendments to this law.

– That is, they quickly dealt with it.

— It is not clear what the amendments are and why they need to be discussed. But four thousand! And did you notice that there were 30 people in the hall of the Verkhovna Rada, but 283 people voted? More than half of the staff of the Verkhovna Rada. This is such a unique democracy.

Why rush? That another 80 thousand Ukrainians will die this year and that the same number of people will die in the next three months. Washington set them a simple task: to fight to the last Ukrainian.

Here’s what they’re going to do. But now they will fight not only until the Ukrainian woman, but also until the last Ukrainian woman. They just don’t say it’s a genocide of the Ukrainian people.

During the two years of war in Ukraine, over one million men between the ages of 25 and 60 were killed or maimed. And the population of Ukraine today is approximately 20 million. That is, almost every 20th person in Ukraine has died or been maimed. And what future will the Ukrainian people have?

One in five, one could say, is of military age.

— It turns out that there are twice as many 40-year-old men in Ukraine as there are 20-year-old men. It’s scary to talk about what future Ukraine will have… And what brought them here was this desire for Europe, which they tricked them like a carrot before a donkey.

Nothing will help Ukraine now

It is clear that Ukraine has no future, no matter what. I mentioned the number: 500 thousand people. It is clear that even in a few months it is unrealistic to recruit so many people. Only if, as stated in the law, they all voluntarily come to the military services, they will be captured there. What numbers do you think we can talk about? And will they help Ukraine to correct the situation on the front?

– I cannot give specific numbers. You see, I don’t have that statistic. But to say that this mobilization will somehow help Ukraine is a mischief. These are fantasies.

Nothing will help Ukraine, neither the delivery of F-16s, nor the new MLRS or HIMARS systems. Because Ukraine lost the war together with the USA, together with NATO.

Last year, they suffered a terrible defeat during the “counter-offensive”, losing 160 thousand people and several dozen units of military equipment. And since the beginning of this year they have lost 80 thousand people. They lose one settlement after another.

I’m not even talking about these hydropower plants and thermal power plants and these weapons depots that our missiles hit. Plus there are ports in Odessa, train stations and so on. So Ukraine has a very serious problem.

The tasks of the SVO will be fulfilled

Viktor Nikolayevich, in your opinion, when will this mobilization resource, the resource of Ukraine’s manpower, dry up so that we can talk about the collapse of the front? Why I ask… If we take the Great Patriotic War for example, many experts are convinced that the Germans lost a lot of money in four years. Already in 1943, the average soldier of the Wehrmacht was no longer the same as in June 1941. And this became one of the key factors in our Victory. That is, they are left without a human resource. I think everyone knows who protects Berlin – old people and children. Now if we look at the current situation in Ukraine, when could something like this happen?

— Well, I must say that the Ukrainian army is demotivated. It is obvious. And the population is demotivated. And if we remember the expression of a classic of Marxism-Leninism that the victory in the end in any war depends on the state of mind of those masses who shed their blood on the battlefield, then it is clear that the Ukrainian army today is desperate and in very bad shape mood.

She is demotivated to fight. This is evident from how they behave on the battlefield and how they avoid conscription, how they surrender and how they flee abroad.

Of course, Ukraine is forced to go to war. I understand that if Ukrainians die, Poles, Colombians and other prisoners from American prisons will be sent there. Of course, we will not have an easy Victory and there will be no such victory march.

But we talked about the Great Patriotic War. Let us recall that during the Great Patriotic War, Ukraine was liberated from four Ukrainian fronts – the first, second, third and fourth. And each front had 500 thousand people.

We did this work for two years, liberating Ukraine. But then we spared nothing and nobody, and neither did the Germans. That’s why there were carpet bombings and artillery attacks. Artillery hits destroyed cities, bridges and more.

We don’t fight like that today. We are not at war against the civilian population of Ukraine. We try to fight only the army and strike only military formations. And besides, in the rear, we disrupt the work of all kinds of military-industrial facilities and those social facilities that work for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

But we are not at war against civilians and we are not destroying Ukrainian cities. Therefore, today we have from 600 to 700 thousand people at the front. This is four times less than during the Great Patriotic War.

Despite the fact that the morale of the Ukrainian army today is extremely low, the same Russian people as us are fighting there. And they have both honor and dignity. They fight very bravely. I do not praise our enemy, the enemy.

I just want to show that when our guys win, they beat a strong opponent. And that is certainly true. Of course, they lack many things. But still they fight very hard.

So we move calmly, slowly, trying to save the lives of both the civilian population and our officers, our soldiers, who are heroically fighting there at the front. I don’t think there’s any point in rushing. You don’t need to set any deadlines.

Because we are not working towards November 7, nor towards the opening of the next party congress. We are fighting to solve the problem – to ensure the security of our country, to demilitarize Ukraine and de-Nazify it. And I think we will solve this problem. If not this year, then next.
