How enemy UAVs can destroy 100 thousand soldiers in 1 year: “They beat us from the rear”

/Pogled.info/ The Russian boys in the direction of Zaporozhye, after spending several days on the front line, went on vacation. The place is located about 20 km from the front line. And just when it looked like they could catch their breath, the FPV drones arrived.

There is another brigade nearby in Zaporozhye. Its fighters are tens of kilometers from the front line, but every day they count the arrival of deadly “birds” by the dozens.

“The guys are desperate for EW (electronic warfare). At least some. 70 drones fly to the brigade a day. Unfortunately, the problem of low-level enemy superiority is not solved at all, and the problem of no electronic warfare,”

– in the words of a familiar soldier, military correspondent Alexei Zhivov told on his channel.

Then do some simple calculations. Since this year, the enemy has received about a million drones, which is 2,700 drones on the front per day. So even if one drone in ten hits the target, that’s 270 strikes per day. That is, about 100 thousand soldiers per year can be killed by enemy UAVs.

“My interlocutor asks the question: ‘Why the hell do they fly so far and have some saboteurs drop them in the back?’

– writes Zhivov.

There is technology, but it is not in demand”

While we hope for guerilla attacks behind enemy lines for those who disagree with the Zelensky regime, there are traitors shooting drones in our new territories. It turns out, doesn’t it?

Technicians have their own explanation for this, which at first glance excludes this hypothesis.

As Dmitry Kuzyakin, general director of the Center for Integrated Unmanned Solutions (CIBR), told Tsarigrad, all drones have been working in complete silence for a long time, and electronic warfare is useless here. Drones can therefore fly deep into the rear.

So how do we deal with them? According to the expert, all that remains is to shoot them down with anti-aircraft guns.

“UAVs are electrically powered and don’t present a thermally contrasting target against the sky. So the MANPADS can’t see them. And because they’re made of plastic and polyethylene and stuff, they’re practically invisible to radar. Unless it’s in close proximity.” ,

– says Kuzyakin.

The expert noted that his design bureau has a development that allows effective combat with drones:

But, alas, it is not in demand, and the army prefers to hit them with anti-aircraft guns.

In terms of new technologies, the situation really seems absurd. As the publicist Tanai Cholkhanov said for “Tsarigrad”, in our country there is no unified system for managing the work of design bureaus and research institutes, they all work in contradiction.

“The time of loners is over, we need global cooperation. We need planning, working with related companies, our own microelectronics – on a global scale completely ours. Because when there is a war, you have to forget about all economic expediency”,

– said Cholkhanov.

And then I remember a recent incident. The head of one of the private design bureaus was detained in Moscow. Special forces burst into his office a minute after the special package was delivered.

During the interrogation, the man said that friends from the front line had sent him a Baba Yaga drone. I was asked to look at the stuffing and create an improved version.

Meanwhile, the leadership of our military’s electronic warfare forces recently announced that it is beginning to actively use neural networks.

On drones, they will automatically recognize objects and change flight from predefined to autonomous. As General Yury Lastochkin noted in a conversation with Krasnaya Zvezda, neural networks will allow UAVs to be organized into groups.

For more than a year now, military correspondent Alexey Zhivov has been proposing concrete steps to combat the enemy’s unmanned troops. First, you need to create a scientific and technical battalion at the headquarters of the group.

Then, in the Special Operations Zone, organize a network of mobile labs to assemble and repair drones. At the same time, a technical base for them will be equipped in Crimea. And the entire structure must report directly to the branch commander.

“My proposal always goes through closed channels to my grandfather’s village. If you entrust these processes to the son of a friend, the result will be the same every time – nothing.”

– said Zhivov.

The enemy wants to reach Tyumen

What is the enemy doing in the meantime? After the attack on Tatarstan, where the drone arrived after almost 2 thousand km, it became clear that the engineers there were not sitting idle. The German publication Bild revealed details of this attack.

A modified UJ-22 drone was used, the limit of which was previously 800 km. And in addition – a drone created on the basis of the light aircraft “Flying Fox”.

In the same article, the Germans, clapping their hands, announced that by the end of this year, about ten manufacturers will supply their enemies with drones that will be able to easily fly to Tyumen, that is, cover a distance of 2,500 km. In addition, designers from the Luch bureau, according to the publication, have created a super drone for which even 3300 km is not a distance.

But in fact, the enemy has already used WarDog in the Zaporozhye and Kharkiv directions. It’s a scout, but the enemy is thinking how to hook it with ammunition. The device can fly 30 km in autonomous mode for up to an hour.

Eventually

Experts note that this year will be decisive in the ZOV operation. It is clear that, in addition to artillery, the confrontation between UAVs and drones will play a major role in the fight against the enemy.

As they say, who wins. But here the answer should be obvious. Of course we are. But to achieve the desired result, it is necessary to once again remove bureaucratic obstacles and establish a sensible leadership to gain the upper hand in this confrontation.

However, these words seem like a kind of déjà vu. We said the same thing when, at the beginning of the special operation, there were problems with the supply of shells to the front. But in two years we learned to avoid stepping on an oar? And in front of us are Kharkiv, Odessa and Nikolaev.
