“The transfer from Washington of long-range missiles to Kiev is further confirmation of the US involvement in the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, reports “Notifications”.

Thus, he commented on the information about the secret delivery of operational-tactical missiles with a long range of action ATACMS.

“This is another confirmation of the direct involvement of the United States of America in the conflict in Ukraine,” Peskov said.

Peskov did not rule out the possibility that “in this way, the US may violate its domestic legislation, since at the time of the alleged delivery of ATACMS, the relevant bill had not yet become law and had not entered into force.”

“Certainly some congressmen will pay attention to this and wonder if everything was done legally,” he added.

The press secretary of the Russian head of state emphasized that “in this way, Washington is only adding fuel to the fire, but it will not be able to change anything from the point of view of the result on the battlefield.” According to him, “the outcome is already predetermined – Russia will win. However, with such a weapon, Ukraine will have more victims”, commented Peskov.

Earlier, The New York Times reported that the US had secretly sent long-range ATACMS missiles to Ukraine. “In addition, Ukrainian forces have already successfully used them, striking an airport in Crimea and Russian troops in southeastern Ukraine.”

As the American publication writes, last week the United States quietly sent a batch of long-range ATACMS missiles to Ukraine – a batch of more than 100 units.
