Only from the sale of her stake in the “Miravel” winery, the beauty received 50 million
Actress Angelina Jolie filled her bank account with as much as 100 million dollars after her divorce from Brad Pitt, according to an investigation by the Daily Mail. It was conducted to verify the veracity of Jolie’s claims that her ex-husband is trying to screw her over financially.
The lavish sum includes loans, alimony, gifts and millions from the sale of her 50 percent stake in Miraval State Winery. It is because of this deal that the former spouses are now suing, as Pitt insists that Jolie had no right, without his permission, to transfer her part of their once joint business to the infamous Russian billionaire Yuri Scheffler.
Most of that $100 million went into Jolie’s account directly from Pitt’s. According to court documents, the actor has spent more than $10 million in child support, paying for their psychotherapy and other bills in the hundreds of thousands a month over the past seven years.
Jolie made the most from the sale of her stake in the Miraval winery. When the two bought it in 2008, it cost $60 million, but its price jumped to $164 million thanks to Pitt’s investments.
However, in court documents, the beauty’s lawyers claim that Pitt was draining her financially.
