The American actress Anne Heish died a week after she crashed her car, reported the electronic edition of “Guardian”, quoted by BTA.
She was 53 years old.
Her family said earlier today that she is not expected to survive. The actress was in a coma after the serious accident. She was kept on life support to determine whether her organs could be donated, her family said in a statement.
Heish crashed his car into a house in West Los Angeles last Friday, causing a fire. Police said preliminary blood tests on the actress revealed the presence of drugs, but further testing is needed to rule out any substances taken under medical supervision at a hospital.
Many hoped that the actress would recover. Firefighters said she was talking to them when they pulled her from the car. However, she lost consciousness in the hospital and on August 8, her family reported that she was in an extremely critical condition and had fallen into a coma.
