“Singing bells” celebrate 45 years with a concert-performance and exhibition in the center of Veliko Tarnovo

The emblematic Veliko Tarnovo vocal group “Singing Bells” at the Youth Center will mark 45 years since its foundation with a festive concert-performance. It will be on April 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the Konstantin Kisimov Music and Drama Theater in the old capital.

The formation was created in 1979 by Vladimir Gabrov, who is still its artistic director. 45 years of work, creativity, enthusiasm and emotions build today’s face of the group. On this occasion, an exhibition in front of the Faculty of Fine Arts of VTU “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” in the center of Veliko Tarnovo recalls the most significant moments and awards of the talents from “Singing Bells”.

The vocal formation of the Youth Home is well known on the scene in Veliko Tarnovo, but also far beyond the borders of the old capital. There are dozens of awards won by “Singing Bells”. And last year, after returning with the first prize from an international music competition in Rome, the talents of “Singing Bells” brought the blessings of Pope Francis personally to Veliko Tarnovo.
