Today, April 26, the day before the Christian holiday Lazarov’s Day, girls from “St. Cyril and Methodius” in the village of Yasenovets greeted the management and employees of Razgrad Regional Administration with dances. The little girls were from first to fourth grade, the dance group was formed under the national program “Together in Art and Sports”. This program is aimed at pursuits in the fields of music, dance, theatre, film and visual arts.

The children are now learning dances from our folklore, the school management commented, two choreographers are working with them. The Lazar girls were dressed in brand new national costumes, and on their heads were wreaths of willow branches, keeping with the traditions.

The Chief Secretary of the Regional Administration, Mikhail Todorov, thanked them for their performances, and the children received gifts for the efforts they made to create a festive mood with their dances.

The dance group from Jasenovets is visiting Razgrad Regional Administration for the second year in a row.
