The team of the project “Strengthening the capacity of the Municipality of Sliven in the field of social services and personal assistance” presented the goals, activities and duration of its implementation.
It is intended to ensure a smooth and trouble-free introduction of reforms in the field of social services. An Information and Advisory Center has been established to provide information on the use of social services. It is housed in the building of the Center for Work with Children at 6 Stefan Stambolov Blvd., where three rooms have been renovated and furnished.
Training is planned for both the specialists who are directly involved in the activities of the front-office and for providers of social services in the Municipality of Sliven. Group and individual supervision will be conducted for newly hired employees. As a result of the trainings, it is expected that 51 people from the municipality of Sliven, involved in the policies in the social sphere, will have increased their competences and skills to provide quality and efficient services to the population.
The project is financed under the Human Resources Development Program 2021-2027, co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus.
