Five municipalities in Shumensko won projects worth over BGN 1 million under “Beautiful Bulgaria”.

Five municipalities from the Shumen region will implement projects under the “Beautiful Bulgaria” program of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy with a total value of BGN 1,042,740. The list of those approved for financing was announced on the website of the national program.

This year, all projects that won funding are for remodeling, repairs and building an accessible building environment.

For all five projects, the municipalities will co-finance the activities.

In the verbiage Hunter village with the “Beautiful Bulgaria” project, the former school building in the village will become a Family Accommodation Center (FAC) for the elderly. The project is for BGN 257,141, of which BGN 179,999 is free funding, and BGN 257,141 is co-financing from the municipality of Varbitsa.

For BGN 419,566, measures for energy efficiency and an accessible environment will be introduced in the building of a day care center Zagorice village. Under “Beautiful Bulgaria”, the municipality of Kaolinovo will have BGN 146,848 and will co-finance the project with BGN 272,718.

In the building of the former polyclinic in Caspian, where health and social services are provided, a mobile platform will be installed that will lead to the second floor of the building, and an external ramp will be built to provide an accessible environment for people with disabilities. The project has a total value of BGN 104,464, of which BGN 83,571 is from “Beautiful Bulgaria” and BGN 20,893 is co-financed by the Kaspichan municipality.

Municipality Brown has an approved project for BGN 174,681 to carry out ongoing repairs to the adjacent space of a building for social services. BGN 120,530 of the total amount is from “Beautiful Bulgaria”, BGN 54,151 will be co-financed by the municipality.

A center for social rehabilitation and integration for elderly people with dementia will open a municipality Noisy in the city. The total value of the project is BGN 86,888. Of this, the grant is BGN 41,706, and the co-financing by the municipality is BGN 45,182. The center will use a building at 7 Gotse Delchev Street in Shumen. Its capacity will be 10 places and it will provide hourly or daily stay under the care of specialists.
