Seven energy-saving measures have been implemented, which reduce the heat losses of the building by means of modern activities on the external structures.
“The existing water heating boiler was replaced with a highly efficient heat pump installation. A photovoltaic installation was built to cover own needs, an energy storage system”.
The entire repair process took place during school hours, with not a single school day missed. The renovated art school building was opened on April 23.
The project is implemented under the Operational Program “Renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy security”, priority axis “Improved energy efficiency in buildings, industry and municipalities”, Procedure “Energy efficiency in buildings”, in line with the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EF of the EEA) 2014-2021.
Its duration is 24 months, starting on 04/29/2022 and ending on 04/29/2024.
The value of the project is 2,856,455.50, of which 100% is a grant.
The Municipality of Vidin was a leading partner in the project and works together with the Energy Agency – Plovdiv and NORCE Norwegian research center, Norway.
