The week of reading in the Sports School continued with two interesting meetings. The spokesperson of the police, Mr. Miroslav Stoyanov, is a guest of the 5th grade in the BEL class of Mrs. Zornitsa Kuzeva. He presented to the class a story by Iliya Mihailov, a teacher and writer from Pazardzhik. The work sparked a discussion about what children’s games and meetings were like in the past and what they are like now. The profession of their guest was expectedly of great interest to the fifth graders. Mr. Stoyanov talked about the essence of his work, and also gave valuable advice on the safety of using scooters, answering the numerous questions of the students.
A little later, the appearance of the musician and singer Toma Zdravkov caused a sensation at school. The musician from Pazardzhik attended the music class of Mrs. Irina Tsaneva in the 7th grade. He had chosen to read an excerpt from his favorite children’s book, Alice in Wonderland, sharing that his daughter was also named Alice. After the reading, the students asked him many questions and boldly questioned him about his appearances in Hell’s Kitchen and last year’s Like Two Drops of Water. They talked about books, music and television, and at the end everyone took a picture for a souvenir and got an autograph.
The management and team of the Sports School would like to thank all their special guests at Reading Week for their time and great meetings. O
