For the period April 19-25, the acute infectious disease incidence registered in the RZI – Varna is as follows:

The number of registered intestinal infections was 18 cases against 22 from the previous week. For this week, 12 persons with enterocolitis (2.79 ‰), one person with rotavirus enteritis (incidence 0.23 ‰), 3 persons with salmonellosis (incidence 0.70 ‰), 1 person with campylobacter (incidence 0.23 ‰) and one person yersiniosis
(incidence 0.23 ‰).

Air-droplet infections (without flu and SARS) were registered for this week: 42 cases of chickenpox with an incidence of 9.75 ‰ against 35 cases of chicken pox with an incidence of 8.12 ‰ from the previous week, 66 persons with scarlet fever with an incidence of 15, 32 ‰ against 74 persons with scarlet fever with an incidence of 17.18 ‰ from the previous week, there were 4 persons registered with whooping cough with an incidence of 0.93 ‰.

The number of registered acute respiratory diseases (ARDs) is as follows: in the current week, 303 cases with an incidence of 7.03 ‰ were registered against 318 cases with an incidence of 7.38 ‰ from the previous week. 32 individuals with complications from influenza and acute respiratory infections were reported.

There are 23 registered persons bitten by a tick.

During the reporting period, 1 immunization against COVID-19 was carried out in the immunization office at the RZI-Varna. 3 persons immunized against yellow fever have been registered.

Epidemiological studies were carried out on 29 persons in connection with the acute infectious diseases registered during the period.

Radiophysical and radiochemical studies

The level of the natural radiation gamma-background is monitored with four-fold measurement on working days in front of the RZI – Varna. During the elapsed period, gamma background values ​​were normal and varied between 0.09 and 0.11 (µSv/h) microsieverts per hour. Deviations beyond the normal fluctuations of the gamma background were not detected.

7 inspections were carried out in facilities using sources of ionizing radiation (IIR) during the implementation of state health control for compliance with the requirements for the protection of persons from the effects of ionizing radiation, in order to check the documentation and compliance with the requirements and rules for radiation protection.

Object control

Employees of the DZK department carried out inspections in 152 facilities: nurseries, kindergartens, schools, health offices and their swimming pools, centers for working with children, sports facilities, gyms, laundries, beauty salons, facilities for the sale of cosmetic products, opticians, water supply facilities, kitchen blocks for kindergartens and schools, children’s dairy kitchen. During the period, 2 prescriptions for hygienic and
anti-epidemic measures.

In connection with established violations of the health legislation, 4 acts for administrative violations of natural persons were drawn up and handed over.

Answers to numerous complaints, signals and inquiries received in the inspection have been processed and prepared.
Employees of the “Organization and control of medical activities” department carried out 38 inspections in medical facilities for outpatient care (LZIBP) and pharmacies.

No violations were found.

3 certificates of insufficiency have been issued for medical specialists.

All documents on the received files for registration and re-registration of the Health Insurance Fund have been completed, described, certified, scanned and sent to the Executive Agency “Medical Supervision”.
