Bassist Venceslav Anastasov appears on the Rousse stage as the Babylonian king Nabucco

--

The Ruse Opera will present the performance “Nabucco” – by Verdi, on April 28 (Sunday) in the Revenue Building in the Danube city. This was announced by the PR of the cultural institute, Diana Dimitrova.
According to her, the impressive production will introduce the audience to the distant, exotic and mysterious world of ancient Babylon.
In the role of the Babylonian king Nabucco, the Ruse audience will see bassist Venceslav Anastasov. “This is one of my favorite roles. Even when I was working with the late Valeria Nedelcheva, who was my accompanist and with whom I prepared a number of roles, she told me that Nabucco was right for my voice and that it would become my crowning role. Indeed, later it turned out to be one of the most comfortable roles for my voice,” says Anastasov.
The image of Abigail will be reincarnated by Vladislava Garvalova, and Andreana Nikolova will be Fenena. Ishmael will be Boris Lukov, and Zakaria – Momchil Milanov.
The director is Mario de Carlo, and the scenography, costumes and artistic lighting are also his work.
The conductor is Viliana Valcheva, and the choir conductor is Steliyana Dimitrova – Hernani. Soloists, choir, ballet and orchestra of the Ruse Opera take part.
