Black-eyed again first at the regional competition “Young Firefighter” – Kardzhali

The team of “Hristo Smirnenski” Secondary School, village of Chernoochene, will represent the Regional Service “Fire Safety and Protection of the Population”-Kardzhali this year at the “Young Firefighter” regional competition.

This is so after the black-eyed team ranked 1st among the teams of the held regional competition of youth firefighting teams “Young Firefighter” – Kardzhali.

Cup, certificate, medals and prizes for the participants were presented by the deputy mayor of Kardzhali Municipality Veselina Tihomirova.

Commissioner Sergey Zaimov – director of the Regional Directorate “Fire Safety and Protection of the Population” -Kardzhali and head inspector Mitko Nikolov – head of the Regional Office “PBZN” – town of Kardzhali.

The team of “Hristo Smirnenski” Secondary School in the village of Chernoochene is actively preparing for the regional competition “Young Fire Fighter” in the city of Kardzhali with the attitude of at least being among the prize winners, motivated team members shared.

The squad is an extracurricular form that increases the fire-fighting culture of adolescents. Young firefighters undergo theoretical and practical training in fire safety, conduct training and sports-competition activities and participate in informational campaigns among people.

The purpose of the training is for adolescents to become familiar with the danger of fire, the main reasons for its occurrence and ways of behaving.

With the preparation, we strive to build lasting habits of behavior in the event of emergency situations, said Yuliana Raicheva – mentor of the detachment.
