Dr. Daniel Iliev – prosecutor in the Dobrich District Prosecutor’s Office issued a monograph “Criminal management of motor vehicles in the cases of Article 343c of the Criminal Code”.
The work has the task of clarifying the role of legal sciences and, in particular, of criminal law in countering this type of criminal activity through research and detailed analysis of the signs concerning the object, the objective side, the subject and the subjective side of the mentioned transport crimes.
The current nature of the book is determined by the lack of an independent and comprehensive scientific study of the crimes under Art. 343c, para. 1–3 of the Criminal Code, affecting transport safety in modern conditions. The problems related to transport crimes under Art. 343c of the Criminal Code affect not only the criminal law doctrine, but also the judicial practice, since the specified criminal structures are applied daily.
Daniel Iliev graduated in law from the Burgas Free University in 2014. He was subsequently a junior prosecutor (in the period 2016 – 2018) and a prosecutor (from 2018) in the District Prosecutor’s Office – Dobrich. In 2023, he defended his doctoral studies in criminal law at the Varna Free University with the supervisor Prof. Doctor of Law. Lazar Gruev.
The book would be useful both for legal practitioners – judges, prosecutors, lawyers, traffic police officers, and for researchers in the field of law and law students.
