The CEC refused the participation of Volen Siderov’s “Attack” party in the two-in-one elections on June 9, BNT informs.

The reason is that during a check, 2,397 correct entries were found in the party list, which is less than the requirement for 2,500 voters. In the last parliamentary vote, the nationalist party gathered just over 10,000 votes.

For this reason, the Central Electoral Commission decided on April 24 to cancel the party’s registration.

The decision is subject to appeal before the Supreme Administrative Court through the Central Election Commission within three days of its announcement.
