The team of the Agrarian High School in Dobrich won third team place at the “Young Farmer” National Competition, which was held on April 24 and 25. The competition is organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Agricultural University – Plovdiv, and the host of the event this year was the Professional High School of Agriculture “Hristo Botev” – the city of Yambol.

Ilkay Ismail from the 12th grade competed in the module “Mechanization of the agricultural economy”, Sashko Vassilev from the 11th grade competed in the “Crop Breeding” section, and in the “Livestock Breeding” section, the PGAS team was represented by Miroslav Nikolov from the 10th grade. The head of the team is an agro-engineer. Ivelina Neicheva – teacher of plant breeding.

Out of the 13 participating teams from all over the country, our team performed well and proved professionalism in the fight for medals.

Miroslav Nikolov won third place in the “Recognition of feed and feed additives” module.

Ilkay Ismail – second place in the module “Master tractor management” and third place in the field “Mechanization of agriculture”.

All three students received a certificate for admission to the Agricultural University – Plovdiv.
