A broken street in Küçük Paris causes problems for drivers and passengers of public transport. Asphalt in a section along “Alexander Stamboliyski” Blvd. is missing, and the holes that have opened in the temporary pavement are huge. This makes the movement of vehicles almost impossible and creates serious conditions for accidents. For this reason, some of the city transport buses have stopped serving the area. In a signal to citizens to TrafficNews it was pointed out that this happened without warning, creating difficulties for them.

Since last night after 19:00 bus 1 does not run on the regular route in Kuchuk Paris. People aredream and they wonder what’s going on. Nobody let us know there’s a change,” said a citizen.

It turns out that the reason for the change is not due to an established new schedule, but the refusal of some drivers to cross the street. Because of the huge potholes, they risk serious damage to the vehicles, and for this reason they have temporarily stopped taking passengers on the route, where repairs are underway.

One of the city transport employees even shared a video on Facebook in which he filmed the challenge of crossing Alexander Stamboliyski Blvd.

At the moment, the contractor of the Water Cycle has sent a team to the field to evaluate the pavement, announced for TrafficNews the mayor of the “South” district Atanas Kunchev.

It is expected that after the section is leveled, the passage of public transport will be resumed.
