The mayor of Plovdiv convenes the parties for consultations

In connection with the forthcoming elections for members of the European Parliament from the Republic of Bulgaria and elections for the National Assembly on June 9, 2024 and in connection with Art. 91 of the Election Code, Decision No. 3130-EP/NS of 23.04.2024 of the CEC and Decision No. 19-EP-NS/25.04.2024. of RIC 16 Plovdiv, the Mayor of the Municipality of Plovdiv, Kostadin Dimitrov, invites the parties and coalitions of parties represented in the parliament in the 49th National Assembly to participate in consultations to form the composition of the sectional election commissions (SEC) on the territory of the Municipality of Plovdiv.

The consultations will be held on 29.04.2024. (Monday) from 4:00 p.m. in the Plovdiv Municipality building, “Stefan Stambolov” square No. 1, Meeting Hall – 2nd floor.

At the consultations, the representatives of the parties and coalitions of parties should present:

1. A written proposal for the composition of the SEC, which should contain:

– the name of the party or coalition making the proposal;

– the names and social security number of the proposed persons;

– the position in the commission for which they are proposed;

– education, specialty of the proposed person;

– phone number for contacting the person proposed as a member of the SIC.

2. Certified by the party, a copy of a certificate of the party’s current legal status, issued no earlier than April 9, 2024, or a copy of the decision to form the coalition to participate in the elections for the 49th National Assembly, which certifies the credentials to the persons representing the relevant party or coalition;

3. Power of attorney from the persons representing the relevant party or coalition, in cases where authorized persons will participate in the consultations (original or certified copy);

4. A written proposal for reserve members of the SEC, which should contain the data specified in item 1.
