The movement and parking of cars on the roads of some of the central boulevards and streets in Plovdiv is limited today and tomorrow. Pedestrians and cyclists will not have access to the adjacent sidewalks, according to the OP “Transport Organization and Control”.
This is due to the shooting of the film “Journey to Plovdiv”, the main character in which is the former Formula 1 racer David Coulthard. He will drive his RB7 car on the streets of the city to show Plovdiv to thrill seekers around the world. The project is implemented with the assistance of the municipality a few hours before the start of the show at the Rowing Base.
The temporary organization is designed so that road users experience the shortest possible inconvenience. The time for photos of each specific road section is fixed in an exact time range. The regional directorate of the Ministry of Interior is engaged in the safety measures of the event.
Transport Organization and Control warns drivers to choose alternative routes if they think the time constraints will make it difficult for them.

On June 24 (Friday):
– from 06:30 to 07:30: Vasil Aprilov Blvd. – from the crossroads with Yanko Sakazov Street to the crossroads with Colonel Sava Mutkurov Street;
– from 08:30 to 10:30: Plovdiv Stadium;
– from 11:00 to 12:30: Ruski Blvd. – from the intersection with General Danail Nikolaev Street to the intersection with Gladstone Street;
– from 14:00 to 17:30: Saborna Street – from the intersection with Metropolitan Paisii Street to the intersection with Dr. Stoyan Chomakov Street, Tsanko Lavrenov Street – from the intersection with “Dr. Stoyan Chomakov” to the intersection with “Petko R. Slaveykov” Str., “Konstantin Stoilov” Str. And along “Fourth of January” Str. – in the section from Saborna Str. To Tsar Boris III Blvd. Unifier.
On June 25 (Saturday):
– from 06:30 to 08:30: Knyaginya Maria Luiza Blvd. – from the crossroads with Petko D. Petkov Street to the crossroads with Gladstone Street and Preslav Street;

– from 11:00 to 13:00: Koprivshtitsa Blvd. – from the intersection with Hristo Botev Blvd. (Komatevo transport hub) to the intersection with Peshtersko Shosse St. and the road from Koprivshtitsa Blvd. on the Youth Hill;
– 13:30 to 17:30: pedestrian and bicycle lanes around the Rowing Canal.
