Russia and the hockey world were rocked by a terrible tragedy. A talented athlete from the SKA (St. Petersburg) children’s team died in a ridiculous training accident.
While performing one of the exercises, 14-year-old Vsevolod Malkov was hit hard by a puck in the heart area.

The club doctor immediately helped the boy and called an ambulance. Malkov was taken to hospital, but the intervention did not save his life.
The SKA hockey club expresses its deepest condolences to the parents, relatives and friends of the deceased talent.
“The club will provide the necessary assistance to Vsevolod’s family, as well as organize an internal investigation into all the circumstances surrounding the incident,” SKA (St. Petersburg) said in a statement.
