The energy exchange within trading in the “day-ahead market” segment closed at an average price for base energy (1-24 hours) of BGN 118.69 per MWh with a delivery date of April 27, 2024 and a volume of 63,708.90 MWh, indicate trade data. This is a decrease of 26.9% from the closing value of the previous trade.

The price of peak energy (9-20 hours) is BGN 72.91 per MWh, for a quantity of 34,947.70 MWh.

Off-peak energy (28,761.20 MWh) is priced at BGN 164.47 per MWh (1-8; 21-24 hours).

Compared to the value of BGN 162.34 per MWh (EUR 83.00 per MWh) for April 26, the price of traded electricity with a delivery date of April 27, 2024 drops to BGN 118.69 per MWh (a decrease of 26.9%) according to BNEB data or 60.69 euros per MWh.

When trading in the “intraday” market segment on April 26, 2024, the total traded volume of BNEB at the time of publication of the information was 5,523.80 MWh at a weighted average daily price of BGN 153.60 per MWh.
