After all, we are an opposition and we cannot be expected to always support the rulers, even former rulers. This was stated by the deputy from “There is such a people” (ITN) Prof. Andrey Chorbanov on the air of NOVA NEWS on the occasion of the dismissal of Rosen Zhelyazkov from the chairmanship of the National Assembly.

He also pointed out that after the elections on June 9, “many of the politicians will open a new page in their lives and open new collaborations with parties that they now categorically renounce.”

Bulgarians want stable incomes that approach the European average, but this cannot happen without growth in the economy. Bare promises will not help anyone, he pointed out.

On the topic of whooping cough, Prof. Chorbanov commented in his capacity as an immunologist that the old vaccine for the infection, i.e. the one that was placed until 2012 was more effective than the current version, but because of its more difficult absorption by the body, it was replaced by a more modern one, which, however, is shorter and weaker in impact.

That the vaccine is different is only one part of the problem; the other part is that parents refuse to immunize their children, Prof. Chorbanov also said.

He expressed hope that a national epidemic would not be declared on Monday, because that would impose restrictions, and stressed that the quarantine of children should be primarily the concern of the mothers themselves.
