Two earthquakes, the stronger of which with magnitude 6.1shook eastern Taiwan’s Hualien County, Reuters reported, citing the Taiwan Meteorological Service.
For now no damage information. The earthquakes were recorded with a pause between them of about half an hour. Earthquakes were also felt in the capital city of Taipei.
The first earthquake had a depth of 24.9 km, and the second – with a magnitude of 5.8 and a depth of 18.9 km.
