The leader of the PP “Edinenie” Ivan Hristanov on the elections: This time it will be a war of life and death!

“This time it will be a war of life and death!”

So the leader of PE “Edinenia” Ivan Hristanov commented to “BNR” the upcoming early parliamentary elections on June 9.

He revealed that he had information that, according to him Delyan Peevski is doing absolutely everything possible to fragment the possible alliances and gave the BSP and Vanya Grigorova as an example. The aim is to be concreted together with GERB as an irresistible force in the National Assembly.

“So I expect that to lift the vote and overall my prediction is that there will be an erosion in the PP-DB that will end with a very dark period for GERB and DPS and finally the sun will rise, which is already happening.” We are entering the dark period!’also comments Hristanov.

He analyzed the results obtained by political forces during elections in recent years. And gave an example with BSP, which in 2005 had 1,530,000 votersand on the last vote – only 230,000 and they were never able to get them back.

“In 2009 GERB had 1,730,000 voters, now they are struggling to reach 700,000. 1 million erosion – again we see no return. Between the 47th and the 49th National Assembly alone, we see an erosion of PP-DB by about 240,000 people. Another 100,000 people have achieved erosion in the last few months. At least try to keep some periphery closer to the cores”the leader of the “Edinenie” party also explained.

Hristanov revealed that of political power work with the ethnic votebecause even with DPS there is serious erosionif we look at their results as the number of people who voted for them in the period from 1992 to 2001:

“These are people with whom we from the “Edinenie” PP are currently extremely active in order to include and return the ethnic vote to the polls and to the parliament. The same is true of those disappointed by the PP-DB. So we have some 350,000 people, if they don’t find a perspective in the face of “Edinenie”, we lose them as voters and representation in the parliament, which is scary.”

In regard to the voted resignation of the now former Speaker of the 49th Parliament Rosen Zhelyazkov Ivan Hristanov commented:

“A slightly belated struggle for supremacy, because the alliance between PP-DB and GERB and DPS pretty much wore out the former. It is an alphabetic truth that when both currents touch, the dirtier stains the cleaner. At the moment we are seeing a show of muscle in a purely pre-election context. I can’t see any context at all – economic, geopolitical, national. I don’t see where Bulgaria’s interest lies here.”
