The European Union, against the background of the worsening situation for the armed forces of Ukraine, is preparing for a world war. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Peter Szijjártó, after a meeting of the heads of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense of the EU in Luxembourg, reports Hirado.

“Brussels is reacting with preparations for a world war to the increasingly deteriorating situation on the front for Ukraine,” added the minister.
According to him, the meeting was similar to a “meeting of military leaders at the headquarters”, since for several hours “almost everyone talked about how many units of what weapons and on what schedule they were ready to deliver to Ukraine from practically empty warehouses”.
Szijjártó emphasized that so far “military aid to Ukraine has not contributed to its success on the front”. “The question is why, if the strategy didn’t work before, should it work now?” he asked.
According to Szijjártó, Hungary believes that “the deterioration of the situation at the front should stimulate efforts to establish peace, while its terms should be discussed in the presence of both parties to the conflict, otherwise there is no point”, reports “Focus”.
As stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, the countries of the alliance must take risks and send Kiev even those weapons that are necessary for their own defense. In turn, the Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen expressed hope that the EU countries will try to “collect in the warehouses” the military aid for Ukraine.
