The Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published a video of a burning Russian Ka-32 helicopter engulfed in flames at Ostafiyevo Airport in Moscow, the GUR press service reported, as quoted by Ukrinform.

“In the early hours of April 26, 2024, an enemy Ka-32 multirole helicopter was destroyed at the Ostafievo Airport operated by the Russian Ministry of Defense in Moscow,” the statement said.

The press service of GUR notes that the Russian Ministry of Defense serves the airport together with the Gazpromavia airline, which is part of Gazprom AD, BTA reported.

“The destroyed unit of aviation equipment was used by the aggressor state in the interest of the Moscow Aviation Center, in particular – to support the operations of the Russian army,” the GUR text says.

As reported, on April 17, a series of explosions were registered in the area of ​​the military airport in the city of Dzhankoy on the Crimean Peninsula.
