This week the European police launched an operation against human trafficking with private jets. Arrests and confiscations have already taken place.

The operation was carried out jointly from Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, USA and France. The countries of the operation are Belgium, Italy and France.

This was announced on Wednesday by the RTBF television channelreferring to the Belgian Federal Police.

Five members were arrested of the criminal group, two of whom are in Belgium, on suspicion of human trafficking, money laundering and document forgery.

Two planes were confiscated in Belgium.

During the searches considerable sums of money and equipment were seized for production of false documents.

According to Belgian police, people were spent in a certain way.

The passengers, usually Kurds, disembarked from Turkey by private plane with fake diplomatic passports. They have not reached their official destination – most often one of the Caribbean countries. Upon landing at a European airport, the migrants left the plane, destroyed their fake documents and claimed asylum.

RTBF specifies that such landings were not committed in Belgium, but the criminals established their base on Belgian territory.

For every illegal immigrant transported channelers were paid up to $20,000.

The arrested gang members, except for human trafficking and document forgery, are also accused of fraud – paying with fake checks and fraud of airlines and hotels.
